Here’s how a typical design or writing experience will look from your end (keep in mind that any part of this can be customized to better meet your needs and will be clarified early in our process):
-
Meet & Quote
I prefer to meet with clients/potential clients in order to make sure I understand your personality and ‘voice.’ If you’re looking to have something ghostwritten, meeting helps make sure your thoughts, passions, and unique identity shine through the written word. For design work, especially clients who know they need something but aren’t sure just what yet, connecting is very important. If you’re in the Pittsburgh area, an in-person meeting is possible, otherwise we can meet over skype or a phone call; during this meeting, I will ask you a number of questions to help make sure I get a clear understanding of your vision and desired outcome(s). This will also be the time to clarify the turnaround time you desire and discuss pricing. -
Deposit
For larger jobs, a deposit of 25%-50% is required to start. The remainder will be requested upon final delivery of your product or design if you’ve made a 50% deposit; a series of payments at key development points can also be arranged. -
Creation
During the creative process, I will likely seek your input a great deal in order to help you see what progress is being made and to make sure we’re moving in the right direction. I can be in contact with you as much or as little as you would like. -
Ordering
If you have ordered cards, signs, banners or other printed goods, I will be happy to order and have those delivered to you. In addition to design fees, I charge 10% of the printing fee for this service. Your final invoice will include the cost of design, printing, and my printing fee. -
Delivery
Should you order printed material, this will be delivered to an address of your choosing. Files are able to be delivered in a variety of digital formats. -
Follow-up
After the completion of your work and confirmation of delivery, I will check-in with you to make sure you are happy with your final product(s).
